Hamptons House That
Appeared on HBO’s ‘Succession’
Sells for $45 Million

The Sussers bought the roughly 3-acre parcel for $16.5 million in 2015, records show. They spent several years building an approximately 11,000-square-foot house with six bedrooms, a spa, gym and golf simulator.

Completed in 2018, the residence has three segments that look like separate structures: One houses the primary suite, the middle is communal space and a third has additional bedrooms.

The inverted roof, which resembles an upside-down pyramid, was designed to maximize the height of the house under local zoning rules, Mr. Susser told The Wall Street Journal when the house was listed. An outdoor swimming pool has the same triangular shape as the roof. The home was featured in a recent episode of HBO’s drama series “Succession,” about the power struggle among a media titan’s children, Mr. Vichinsky said. In the episode, the house belongs to an investor in the family’s company, played by Adrien Brody.

Mr. Vichinsky said the sales price was “healthy,” reflecting the limited number of high-quality properties on the market. Overall, Hamptons luxury inventory dropped 41.5% during the third quarter of 2021, according to research and appraisal firm Miller Samuel. The median luxury sales price was up 21.3% compared with 2020.
